Information about the Liriodendron Tulipifera tree: The north American Tulip tree is a beautiful large tree, flowers appear in June and July and are yellow-green with a base color of orange. The Tulip tree flowers have a nice fragrance but only appear on mature trees that are at least twenty years old. The leaves which are oddly shaped turn a rich yellow in the autumn.
